Spotted Flycatcher

I was delighted today to catch up with a local Spot Fly, only managed these record shots as it wasnt very confiding and the light was not good, had to use ISO 800 to get these.

Marsh Harrier

Great views of this awesome bird, never tire of watching harriers patrolling the reedbeds. This one had success with a young coot, it can just be picked out in its talons. The light was terrible so pics not great, why doesnt it ever come this close when the light is right??!!!

Blue Tit

This pair of blueys were tirelessly collecting caterpillars for their brood.

Little Owl

Our local little owl gave great views, it is one of our favourite birds to spot and watch. This one made us smile as it appeared to be wearing a leaf hat to shade it from the sun :) We love the cheekiness of these beauties and the way they scowl!!
