Ross's Goose

This pretty little Goose has shacked up with a Greylag, they appeared very much "loved up!" It was nice to get good views of a rarely seen Goose

More Birds of Barton

Shown here are one of the new spring migrants, a Chiffchaff. Nice to hear them again, a sign of Spring :) Also this Great Crested Grebe had its beak full with this perch, it took a lot of swallowing! This female Shoveler gave a nice flypast

Pond Life

Spring has sprung in the local ponds. Here are a couple of frogs and a newt.

The Realm of the Marsh Harrier

Our local Marsh Harriers are showing really well at the moment. Never too close but such a delight to observe. They are awesome birds! They get some serious hassle too - constantly being mobbed!

Common Cuties

All posing well in the sunshine!

Greylags again

Always noisy and raucous and very abundant! It was nice to have a bit of sunshine to capture some nice flight shots!
