Derbyshire Dipper





One of about half a dozen Dippers that we saw on our visit to the Peak District.

Peewit/Lapwing

More of the "Munchies!!!"



The reed warblers seem to be the only birds showing well these last couple of days, this one today devoured the common darter. Also I spied this bunny in the undergrowth nibbling a blade of grass!

A visit to a peat moor provided lots of interesting things to photograph! Here shown are a black darter, a southern hawker, common lizard, a female adder and a green tiger beetle

Wild Babies




Lots of new little families, this little mallard duckling, with 7 siblings is newly fledged and looked lovely in the sunshine!! Cant believe the size of this moorhens feet already!! Also a few swan families about.
