Geese and Grebes

Enjoyed watching the Slav grebe successfully catching fish. Also these Canada geese entertained me whilst they enjoyed their bathing!

Slavonian Grebe

Nice to see this bird in our local country park. The light was atrocious for photography, the camera needed a high ISO so not the most perfect pics but nice for the record!

Smew

Nice views of this rare bird, difficult to photo as in direct sunlight with strong wind, he was bobbing up and down rather a lot!! Managed this one reasonable shot.

Woodland Wonders

So many beautiful birds around today - such a pleasure! Coal Tit, Great Tit, Robin and a Yellowhammer entertained us for a couple of hours

We were thrilled today to see 2 Nuthatch - a first for us!!! It was a magical morning, hundreds of birdies around for us to marvel at!!
