A ride out on Bank Holiday Monday produced a few waders, light not perfect for photos nevertheless nice to see these. Redshank, Ruff and Whimbrel

"Teasel" the Weasel

This adorable little creature is now a regular sight for me and is becoming more confiding, I have named him/her "Teasel". It is such a privelege to be able to watch it at close quarters :)

British Birdwatching Fair

A great weekend! Lots to see and do. Shown here are Jonathon Scott (Big Cat Diary), Rory McGrath (signing copies of his new book), Nick Baker (Weird Creatures), also a pic of a juvenile Turtle Dove that was caught for ringing. We also saw Bill Oddie, Simon King, Chris Packham and Janet Sumner but couldnt get pics!

Rutland Ospreys

Whilst visiting the "Birdfair" we were lucky to see a pair of osprey, at great distance so only record shots!!!

Weasel and more

I was thrilled today to have a good view of one of our cutest mammals, the Weasel. It kept popping up between the rocks checking me out :) Its a shame there was so much vegetation to take the edge of the photos! Also shown here are a Kingfisher,Lesser Whitethroat and a Linnet
