Kestrel

After nearly six hours of seeing not many creatures or birds, I was rewarded with a great view of one of our favourite birds , the Kestrel.

Spot Fly

As we were heading back to the car, I spotted one of these. We settled down to watch it feeding and were delighted to see FOUR of these along the same stretch of land, all to-ing and fro-ing for flies!

Never tire at that sight of these fantastic birds!!

The long awaited sunshine is bringing out these beauties, 5 Spot Burnet, Comma and Tortoiseshell

Nice views of all these birds, Dunlin, LongTailed Tit, juvenile Robin, juvenile Willow Warbler and a Reed Warbler

Kingfisher/Bittern

I havent seen either of these up close for a while so seeing both within a few mins was a treat! The light could have been better tho!! The Bittern disgraced itself as it flew past, no its not a fault with the camera!
