The reed warblers seem to be the only birds showing well these last couple of days, this one today devoured the common darter. Also I spied this bunny in the undergrowth nibbling a blade of grass!

Feasting Reed Warblers

Lots of these little "hungry" birds around today in the rain, catching everything from spiders to damselflies.

This little bird had a hard job removing his "packed lunch" from the underside of the reeds, probalby spiderlings or something?

Tales of the Riverbank

This little cutey appeared to be oblivious to our presence, water voles are one of our favourite creatures. Also shown here is a kingfisher and a little grebe

Moorland Wildlife

A visit to a peat moor provided lots of interesting things to photograph! Here shown are a black darter, a southern hawker, common lizard, a female adder and a green tiger beetle

Wild Babies

Lots of new little families, this little mallard duckling, with 7 siblings is newly fledged and looked lovely in the sunshine!! Cant believe the size of this moorhens feet already!! Also a few swan families about.
