Stormy Weather

Storm clouds at sunset gave great photo opportunities! There was a sense of calm initially as captured as cloud symmetry then the storm clouds rolled in as the sun was slowly setting

Kingfisher

Lovely views of this kingfisher, photographed in terrible light so not the best pics!! As soon as it left the sun came out! Typical!!

Magnificent Marsh Harrier

I was delighted today to observe this awesome bird on 3 occasions, very difficult to photograph-so fast and furious!!

Barton Butterflies

Here we have a meadow brown, gatekeeper, peacock, common blue and a ringlet

Fantastic views of the harrier today, stayed around quite a while. Always a pleasure to see and observe!

Lovely views of two of these beauties! Not the best pics as the light was atrocious coupled with the fast moving barnies, which made "locking on" to the subjects a bit of a problem, better luck next time!
